| If someone wanted to make the world a better place could....
1. First get rich by doing something that is very useful to other people, like Bill Gates did with computers, and he even used some of his presonal wealth to help fund charity projects.
2. On a shoestring budget you could do something like Martin King Jr. Find a way to make people understand things in a better light. Or become a teacher that is really interested in preparing kids to do useful things. Write a book that has an influence on making changes that can be good for society or for nature.
If you are not all that creative or if you lack leadership skills, then add whatever support you can to those that are in those roles.
How would one measure what is "better". That would all depend on a person's own personal opinon, and what idea they have attached their own personal "motive to do good" too.
Because of the diversity of ideas, too which we attach our motive, you can have a diversity of causes to join, and therefore also have competing or conflicting momentums. Some baring fruit and some not. Those that do bare fruit will leave their footprints (marks) and the others would go un-noticed. |
