| The CIA's job, as far as us civilians are concerned, is to not tell us what their job is.
What is their perceived job? Pushing buttons and pulling strings in the world, an assassination here, a cover up there, and censored documents for everyone.
They are supposed to answer to the president I guess, but its my guess that they keep most of the government in the dark about their business unless they need something from them.
I know your type. You think, "I'll just get me a costume, rip off the neighborhood kids." Next thing you know, you've got a jet shaped like a skull with lasers on the front!
