| I used to be able to wake myself up from particularly bad dreams. Most of these used to involve being chased by snakes. Eventually, however, I began to fight back. I started killing the snakes. And now my subconscious finds no particular reason to wake me any more. Dreams that used to be frightening are now enjoyable.
Interestingly, I fly in every single one of my dreams, no matter what else it's about. It's like flight is a permanent and integral part of my subconscious.
