| You know what, I don't have to waste my time picking apart this post. You see, you say all of this assuming that God exists. Well guess what, in all logic, he doesn't.
Now tell me, what proof is there that God exists? The only proof exists in scripture, written by men. All religions can back up their faulty beliefs with more of their faulty beliefs. They can't all be right, and there's no reason to assume that Christianity is any different.
Almost everything has a scientific explanation. The creation of the Earth has a perfectly sound scientific explanation that completely contradicts the Genesis area of the bible. Some people choose to ignore this contradicition and cling to their belief of God. If the very first part of the Bible is false, what reason is there to believe any of it is true?
Almost everybody at my school believes in God because they were brought up to believe in God. Not a single one of them can offer a shred of evidence as to God's existence. Religion is full of faulty reasoning, and many only continue to believe in God out of the fear that they will go to hell if they stop believing in him.
Hell doesn't exist. Hell is simply a human device used to condemn certain people and frighten others. |
