Why do we talk about faith as if it was a virtue? What is faith if it isn't the act of believing in something no matter how many time it has been disproven?
Not necessarily. It's belief without evidence. I have faith in the love and affection of those close to me. I have faith I'll wake up tomorrow. I have faith in many things I can't support with evidence, but none that I'm aware of violate the laws of nature like religious faith does. I don't suggest that faith is a virtue, just a facet of life.
