Here, I'll help... Maybe your copy of the Constitution outlaws taxation, but this is what mine says:
First sentence of Article I, Section 8:
"
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises"
I mean it seems to me that gives Congress the power to lay and collect taxes - I could be wrong though, you know how vague that wording can be...
