It reminds me of the other thread about people reading our thoughts. Of course, thoughts can lead to actions.

Heinrich Himmler (Reichsfuhrer SS) said in a speech in 1936:

Unfortunately, people listened. Blind obedience is one of the main complaints I have about the world. Still, thought control in some sense is necessary to avert this. It's one of the fascinating ironies of life.
