Conspiracy Belief is the same thing as religious belief.
A rigid unfounded belief about something greater or more powerful than the individual in order to satiate a borderline narcissistic goal of feeling more important about themselves. If someone is trying to conspire against you or hide facts from you, that means they recognize you exist. Something the reported "conspirators" IE the government, has shown time and time again that frankly they don't care.
Furthermore, the mindset that "My religion is right and yours is not so you're going to Hell (or wherever for the sake of the hypothetical)" is nearly identical to "I have everything figured out because I'm more intelligent than the brain washed sheeple."
What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality? |
