Is that not what I said? Why was a response necessary?

'Spiritual warfare' is the struggle to have life in this material world reflect as much as possible God's loving governance. It is a 'war' because there are forces working vigorously to thwart what God is doing. God is in charge, but there is an enemy that is in full-scale revolt, and it has powerful influence all around.

This is from the first link in your series of links. Now, it would appear that this is a fairly open definition, a warfare that could be applied physically, socially and mentally. Christian anti-abortionists march outside of abortion clinics calling everyone who might come in and out a sinner; Social. Evangelicals being taught in their congregations that homosexuality is wrong and goes against God; Mental. Islamic militants, fighting a war against the un-godly United States, because so much of our culture goes against what is taught in the Koran; Physical. Regardless of the methodology, they are all trying to achieve the same end: Make society conform to their religion. Warfare is a broad spectrum tool, regardless of whether its end result is spiritual or not.
