Basicly, it would be a democracy. In a democracy, the majority wins, and the minority loses.
Think about minorities on a global level. Entire cultures will be swallowed.
We are seeing things from a Western perspective. In Saudi Arabia, their laws are plain sexist. But the women like it that way, and the men like it that way. Who are we to go in and change their laws?
Its globalisation on an entirely new level.
I can see how you could argue that it would bring world peace - but I think there will always be extreamists. Someone will always strongly oppose the earth government, enough to fight them. |
