I think he's done a great job of that already and thats the exact reason WHY Jesse Jackson has never been a serious candidate. He was too against the white man, and didn't seem like a "strong black man" but an angry one. I think Obama has kept himself away from such issues which melded him into the spot he was looking for.

Obama has never talked about race, other then speaking about how great it is that so many people are looking for change and know it when they see it/hear it. He doesn't seem like(or just hides it well) he is expecting to win by the black minority vote which helps him appeal to everyone.

I agree about Clinton though. Obama stole her votes in Iowa and I don't think that pattern will change too much. I guess NH will tell... The polls don't look too good on CNN though
