| I've never seen a sex ed teacher say, "Kids, you need to have sex." They merely want to provide important information, and I assume they trust kids will make the right decisions with it. Those who make this argument have yet to give any reasonable example of why knowledge about condoms or diseases will inherently encourage sex. If anything, it may discourage it. If people learn they may get warts or sores in the process of sex (and certainly worse), obviously some will exercise caution or even refrain from it.
