At least with the education and the condoms they know what they are doing, and they can't get pregnant or get diseases.
The 'age' of concent here is 16 as far as I know; and there are a large amount of girls under 16 sleeping with guys over 16 that I personaly know of, so I can see that your point is valid.
However, teacher student relationships are very different. A teacher is in a position of power and respect. If they abuse that then it sets the example that sex with children is ok. If kids are given special treatment and rewards for sleeping with the teacher, then it sets the example that sex will get you what you want. Also, a teacher sleeping with a student is very close to rape - even if it is concentual. A teenager is at a very delicate time in life, they can easily be manipulated and taken advantage of - especialy by a teacher, who is in a position of power and respect. |
