| Look, if you were right outside the party when they busted it and people were clearing out, that is certainly reasonable suspicion, and cause for questioning. After all, how are they to know you weren't there? How are WE to know you weren't there?
FACT: A crime had been committed.
FACT: The police were trying to ascertain the principles.
FACT: You were in close proximity to the scene of the crime.
I would consider the cops negligent in their duty if they had just found a fresh dead body and saw you walking in the near vicinity and did not question you. This is no different. |
