Okay when I initially said I didn't care about the dog I was being facetious. I just wanted to be sure to illustrate that I thought the issue of a politician altering the law overshadows the harm to the dog in terms of outrageousness (to me). I hate people who hurt dogs because I really like dogs. However, I realize that people in China or wherever skin dogs everyday and I can't get as angry about this as I can a politician spitting in the face of the law here and getting away with it.
