Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said the CIA claims it told the committee of the tapes' destruction at a hearing in November 2006. Rockefeller said, however, that the hearing transcript found no mention of that subject.
J. Rockefeller is a hallucinating deviant, (and with his obsessive and chronical stubbornity of an asshole) that attempts to add all the material into the same package - and 1 only, relentlessly, as long as it fits a particular concept of his own desire.
Jay Rockefeller knows very well that video-tapes Hayden mentions, concern prisoners that have been held off U.S. borders, what Excludes Guantanamo.
Therefore, U.S. intelligence agencies have had unlimited rights and privileges to manage those vidoe-tapes accordingly.
What Jay Rockefeller wants, that goes beyond those video-tapes scope. He wants U.S. governing body to release the data on sources that serve and/or support and/or help U.S. intelligence agencies, off U.S. borders.
No chance that data is going to be released, since it carries extremely sensitive and vital information for U.S. intelligence agencies.
That (read: data for U.S. off borders sources) is the key reason U.S. governing body does not want any open investigation into that case.
That is what Jay Rockefeller can not overcome and/or comprehend, despite of his seat within U.S. Senate "Intelligence Commitee" - as the Chairman. Jay Rockefeller can not understand that being a chairman is not enough.
