| Most of what I felt about existence... er.... existed prior to myself trying something like LSD, but LSD put it all into perspective and filled in the blanks that were missing. What made sense then, still makes sense now.
People are quick to assume that LSD just puts it all in your head and it's not real.... but everything we experience in our lives is in our heads technically..... it all has to reach the brain in some fashion or another.
Not to mention the fact that the eyes end up with dilated pupils to an extreme, this would allow for more light and information to pass through to the brain more then normal.
The things I have observed while on LSD, like a table, a pictures, a wall, a rock, all never "Jumped Out" or started talking to me in some foolish manner..... they all just move within the confines of their existence.... they stay right where they are... just themselves move within themselves..... perhaps on explination would be that your dilated pupils are observing much more detail on the surface of these things.... perhaps observing the collective of it's atoms in activity, as somethings sometimes look grainy or fuzzy.
If you ever look at a photo of nature, say like a beach or a forest, you can usually see the clouds, the water, the leaves in the trees all moving ever so slightly.... like as it was in the brief moment in time when the photo was taken.
There is a lot that can be learned if you know how to focus your attention while on LSD.
Which is why I sometimes think the Hippies had it all right back in the 60's.... they were just too damn passive to make a dent in changing the world.
Hell, I'd love to get high everyday, walk around naked and have sex with everybody, but The War on Drugs put a damper on that.....
