Quote by: Major Billy No, this is not a thread criticizing Gov. Huckabee for saying he doesn't believe the theory of evolution. Or that he claims to talk to God on his cellphone. You will have to make up your own minds on those issues.
But now he says that "According to the law of aeronautics and the wingspan and circumference of the bumblebee, it is aeronautically impossible for the bumblebee to fly."
No scientist ever said that ignorant nonsense, and no 'law of aeronautics' or law of physics ever proved "It is aeronautically impossible for the bumblebee to fly."
Anyone who believes or repeats such nonsense without bothering to check their facts should never be allowed to be anywhere near nuclear weapons. |
What a garbage post. Huckabee didn't make any serious claim that bumblebees can't fly.
"As to the Huckabee/bumblebee comparison, he noted the old saw that if one considers the size, shape and “aeronautical design’ of the insect, “it’s scientifically impossible for the bumblebee to fly. But the bumblebee, being unaware of these scientific facts, flies anyway.” Similarly, the former governor said, he has proven himself politically airworthy."
