| Wait let me get this straight, because one man went out and found a high-profile lawyer to work pro-bono after basically getting on his knees, we're all safe from injustice if we put in some hard work? I think if everyone went out and did that, it wouldn't work anymore; that well would dry up very fast.
I'm not as left as some of the people here, but I'm aware of the huge population of prisoners we have (some without trials). We have the largest prison population in the world (2,000,000 last time I checked). I think it's safe to say there is some injustice in this country concerning law.
I get my cynical view of this matter from personal experience. I work part-time for a company that pays old cops to guard the stores. If I ever get pulled over I just have to say the store name and I'm off the hook.
