But I object to how you seem to be taking all Muslims and putting them in one big pile. I hate generalizations with a passion.
Hence my usage of the word "often". Love it, hate it, no matter. It's true. Often they cite the non-violent aspects of Islamic female oppression as a cultural connotation. As you pointed out yourself here;
Quote:
Wait, you act like all Muslim women are against the vale, which they aren't. Just take a look at Briton and some of the hot topics there.
I doubt very much that many of these women whom live outside of Islamic law states really want to hide behind the vale. Their reason for doing so, with a smile, is that to not abide by this cultural connotation would bring much shame to their family. It is simple cultural oppression.

Quote:
I haven't, I don't care what religion you are from, you don't get to impose your believes on others. (not you, I'm talking about everyone, including Muslims).
Thats what the vale represents. Only a fraction of the inane cultural "laws" under which Muslims operate. A sister, a wife, a daughter, is forced through cultural oppression to hide her entire body under a blanket. If they choose not too, the price is extreme. Even deadly in some random occurrences.
