| Well our potiential olympians have had continual issues over the years with having problems trying to fund their training and equipment, as well as the costs at the olympics, which is also why in the past we have had fewer players in the olympics in comparison to other nations similar to us.
Many in past reports have spoke about their questioning of whether they should go through with the olympics compared to the financial cost laid on them alone. I feel if they are going to represent our nation, then perhaps the nation should at least help them out with their costs..... and this is of course, if they win.
Will it affect their desire to perform at their best, rather then the dollar? I doubt it. |
