Quote by: Brillonewt ok, so this man, reeking of booze (eye witness report) was stumbling around, screaming, pounding on windows, cops show up, he grabs something (apparently a stapler) off the table, and im guessing brandishes it because hes sure as hell not picking it up to staple anything, and the cops, with it being their duty to protect the other civilians and themselves, subdue the man with the only means they can. He dies, now they are getting in trouble. We give cops this responsibility to take action when it needs to be taken, that is their job, but when they do they take flak for it. What if they hadn't have used the taser, and the dude went nuts and attacked the woman that was there? | My ONLY issue in this case was the repetitive multiple tases he was given. One would be suffice. As well, kneeling on a suspects throat is against the law, even for police. |
