| yeah.. i'm coming to feel that way myself. powell's like a flavor-sapped wad of chewing gum.
i suppose he went along with them because he felt it was his duty. thank god he did though - what little he has managed to do probably would've been much worse if he wasn't there. i doubt bush would've pushed for 1441 if it wasn't for powell - wolfowitz himself said that wmd weren't the "real" reason for invading.
i'd love to see powell drop out before the election.
and i'd REALLY love to read his memoirs after all is said and done. |
