| I wouldn't class that attitude you describe as a superpower attitude. Although China has always had a vast potential to be a superpower, it has never really taken up that role.
Then again, I've only been politically aware under the reign of one superpower, and its attitude is imperialistic, which China isn't (if we ignore Tibet).
