yabbut:The goals of femenism are different in different areas of the world. For western cultures some objectives are to have equality in the amount of time spent on housework and child care; equal pay (just look at any stats, women are still paid less for the same work); the ability to walk down the street in a large city without some jerk saying something along the lines of 'hey baby gimme some of that ass'; removal of the glass ceiling at the work place (perfect example... someone on this board saying men are prone to lead); the ability to be a powerful woman without being called a bitch (unlike men who are given kudos when attaining power).

Please read the rest of the thread before you state what I already have. :) I'm pretty sure I went over women in power, and women sexually offended, if you wanna discuss that quote me.. there is another feminism thread too that i posted a lot in.

could you give me examples? i know that some less dominant men like more dominant women. But a lot of those times do not include day to day living.. more of a sexual thing or their personal relationship rather than their 'role' or abilities in the relationship.

yabbut:How many men do you know who work full time, cook dinner, clean the house and look after the kids? Obviously (thank god) there are some but how can you say that women get nothing done? Are you blind?

I did NOT say women get nothing done. Read it again, you totally took it out of context. I even said flat out " not to say that they do not get the same amount done ". I am not blind, read what i said please.
