| How many here believe the US government "constantly stirs the pot that they wallow in, feeding into their hate"? I think they may be right regarding the Palestinians, but otherwise this is a gross exageration. In most cases the US government has had little to do with most of the Muslim world, its relations and ties oil-driven, related to security along shipping routes and port access.
Who are these aggrieved non-Palestinians who claim the US somehow contributes to their misery? The grievances from Islamic fundamentalists vary; Al Qaeda is concerned first with infidels in Holy Lands (including Palestine); Hezbollah, Hamas and other Palestinians are more concerned with Israel proper; Chechens, Indonesian and Pilipino groups are more seccesionist. They all share this religious jihad element and the anger is vented at the local different group -Hindus in India, Russians in Chechnya, Jews in Palestine. The US is the target, but the "west" is a local construct which paralels "infidels". Muslims need to be taught tolerance for diversity before they kill us all.
