Sure. It just takes a bit of repression. No problem, we repress stuff all the time. It's probably not going to be as deep as a mate or best buddy, but it's good to have lots of casual friends. If you are looking for a relationship, you can meet more women through women friends than through men friends. This is especially good if your female friend is attractive and you take care of yourself so you are desirable to hot women. Hot women tend to hang out with other hot women. So you get a friend, she gets a friend, and you can hook each other up to your buddies. It's a win-win all around.
Just gotta keep that repression thing going strong... and don't let her use you as her "emotional tampon".
