Because liberal audiences are more literate and more apt to read for information?
Because liberal audiences are less in need of hearing people reinforce their beliefs on a daily basis?
Because liberal audiences would rather hear some variety in their entertainment?
Because conservative audiences are more entertained by hearing people who disagree with them berated and slammed?
Because conservative audiences are more apt to swallow blatant propaganda as fact?
Because conservative audiences need reassurances that patriotism is loyalty to conservative ideals as opposed to country?
Because conservatives are the more apt to forgive picking at the sores that keep the US divided as long as it promotes the conservative agenda?
Just a few ideas off the top of my head.
