The application of the first amendment in these cases is not that clear.
Example - I feel the religious observences should be sponsored by the religious institutions and not units of government. There should by no limits on the expression of religion in the USA, but the government should not sponsor or support a religion. I would have a distinct problem with Episcaplian being the state religion.
