That is because while you are trying to tell the honest truth, he is grasping at any rationalization he can muster up to attempt to hideously justify the crime against the Palestinian people. Instead of accepting the fact that we are all endowed with rights by virtue of natural law, he tries to justify the violation of Palestinian life, liberty, humanity, and property even to the point of resorting to double standards. And as if that weren't enough he knows that the American media has been swamped to the point of almost total control by heartless, self-centered individuals who share his viewpoint.
I am neither Jew, Arab, or Muslim; but I know that if Israeli authorities were to force me to evacuate my own family home to surrender it to a Jewish settlement, I would resist it as strongly as I could. The law against such thievery has been "written" in the heart of man since his creation.
