Let me see if I understand you. Because a known weather phenomena is fairly rare, you automatically assume that this is an even rarer occurance, i.e., a meteor that impacted right into that big storm cloud that could have caused an outflow boundary. Have you ever heard of occam's razor? At least show me the news story about the meteor impact.
