I simply asked why every child "deserves" a good upbringing. The only correct response from you would have been for you to explain why every child "deserves" a good upbringing! Even here with your post you are still reading things into what I posted.
Ok, so was I wrong to assume that you do not think every child deserves a good upbringing? Then answer me point blank so I can stop assuming: Does every child deserve a good upbringing?

Again, it means exactly and only what it says: that you falsely assume that the kid can't grow up and overcome his messed-up childhood.
Again, am I incorrect in what I derived from what you said? What is more important to you, the welfare of children or preventing government intervention? It is only reasonable to criticise me for reading into what you say if what I read into what you say is not something you believe. But you do believe it, so who cares if you didn't say it as explicitly as I do?

I support parental control because that's where the control belongs and because I oppose government intervention. The parents gave birth to the children and that, in itself, places on the parents a certain moral responsibility for those children.
We agree thus far. We just disagree as to what should happen if the parent violates that moral responsibility. I say, the parent should suffer consequences from violating the responsibility. You say, if parent wants to rape child all day and feels no guilt, government has no right to intervene.
