I think those two posts sum this situation up pretty well. I don't know why "it's so gay" or "you're so gay" have become such popular sayings these days, but unless directed at a gay person as an insult of some sort (though calling a gay person gay is hardly insulting), I can't imagine anyone considering this gay bashing. Childish, immature, sure.
