Well, the Republicans are not famous for ideas that are popular, such as the war in Irag, and other things. But they counter that with ideas based on religion or being patriotic, and with those who hope to become one of the wealthy minorities.
At any rate, that is how they will present it.
For voters who fear paying more taxes for a new health care system that idea will seem attractive. Take out the junk food from public schools, etc. And sin tax fast food places instead of the wages of workers, and promote staying fit and trim instead of pigging out on food. That way "no new taxes" due to "less junk food".
And they imagine that will reduce the number of people who will collect from the insurence companies due to billings form doctors. eh... less heartburn... less money spent on pills.
