I am sure that I won't go to heaven. The collection of cells that we recognise as a human body no longer functions at death. The dead body can only go where others carry it. The relationships between the cells that produce the mind end when the cells no longer function. The dead mind simply does not exist at any location other than the time-space occupied by the functioning body..

A dead body has no spirit, no personality, no drive. The cause of death in spirit is the same as the cause of death in body. It could be an accident, or disease.
