The BBC are British.....and are quite happy to be independent from the US point of view. Where have you been, the moon?
They western media is mostly Capitalistic. And as such, they will be Anti-Sociaist.

The Venezuelans can't see BBC. Chavez just shut down the biggest and most respected independent news station in Venezuela, now having the media become state run.Now he wants to expell any foreigner who criticizes him, aka any foreign press that writes something he doesn't agree with.

This sounds like silencing the press to me. Where have been, the moon also?

You sure your not going to give you points for that one mod!
I just explained why that TV station was shut down. They took part in an attempted Coup-De-etat.

Comprehension issues, GHook? I'm explaining to Maybe-Not why the BBC is a respected source which is independent from the US...feel free to make a contribution.
Being owned by a Brit, doesn't make the BBC a trust worthy source.

I agree BBC is still a respectable source of news despite the recent scandals.
I'd still like to see another source. The full story is with a 90% chance being concealed.
