We must standardize voting rights for those who have served their sentence because.....

Then you advocate the removal of the ability for states to legislate their own criminal laws and statutes which is simply asinine. Standardizing states is to put them solely under the federal model.

States disenfranchise ex-offenders who have fully served their sentences

Incorrect. As we are having this discussion it is clearly apparent that the loss of voting rights is a part of their sentences. While their term of imprisonment and parole may have expired, we have codified that their punishment extends indefinitely as far as voting rights are concerned. They continue to repay their debt to society even if the level in which they do so diminishes after they exit the prison system.

You must also support re-districting by politicians to hijack public offices as well right?

You're going to have to explain to me how you came to this conclusion.

As far as sexual offenders are concerned, we need to standardize laws governing them from state to state to ensure that we can keep track of them.

While a national registry would be nice, it would have to be in addition to or a cooperation of state based registries as making every sex offense a federal offense in order to be standardized under the federal system would eliminate powers granted to the states.

Contrary to your assumption, I do endorse a national registry which should include more then just type 3 offenders. History has proven that this a incurible plague that has become way to prominent in our society.

Than my assumption was incorrect. My apologies. Though you must see my reasoning in questioning this view since you have taken the opinion that these felons have repaid their debt to society. Labeling them indefinitely as sex offenders following the end of their prison sentence, while being something I agree with, is contradictory to your argument that once their sentence is fulfilled, they should have their full rights restored.
