Pssh.... compaining about a few racist remarks in a movie? I guess people have been stuck under a rock.

Anybody remember Payback with Mel Gibson? Lots of racist remarks in the movie.... much worse then what I am hearing here, but it didn't detract from the movie's action and entertainment, nor did it influence me to start being racist.... come on.

This is about as trivial and those who want to ban smoking in movies..... because it's a bad influence. Guess what? Not everything in movies are suppose to be good influences.... if they were, then chances are the Hannibal series wouldn't exist, 8mm wouldn't have come out, because people would start running around killing and eating one another or making snuff videos..... seriously, most people arn't that stupid.

Someone being bad, racist, or whatever is a part of a movie, a book or a story..... they potray real life to an extent, and perhaps before people start complaining and controlling the media we all watch, perhaps they should concentrate on the real life first, which the media potrays.

I'll probably watch the movie someday.... but the only time I would have to refuse to watch a movie based on racism, would be if that was the central basis of the storyline. It's not in this movie, the so-called racism remarks in the movie are indeed to portray the character in the movie.

If you have to remove the bad talking, the smoking, the drinking, the violence from a character in a movie to please all those easily offended, then what kind of movie are you going to have left? Something unrealistic and pretty cheesy if you ask me.

If you don't like it, don't watch it... but if the overall movie was entertaining, but these small spots of racism in the movie ruined the whole thing, man..... some people's kids I tell ya.
