If this is the mindset of the Islamic world, there can never be complete peace with any who don't believe in the words in the Kuran? Or even those who do believe but are from a different sect? Or those whose idea of perfection is to have everyone else believe and live in the same pattern? We are human beings with different experiences, beliefs and desires. We live in different environments and under different conditions. To postulate that harmony will only come if everybody believes in the same dogma is madness..unrealistic in the extreme! It forecasts doom and death.
An example, Muslim fanatic terrorists killing people(women and children) of their own faith by the thousands(in Iraq) as a so called expression of a faith and ostensibly making the world a better place to live boggles the mind? Blowing up innocents to make a point transcends belief for many of us. It doesn't cure anything except possibly salve the conscience of people with innocent blood on their hands.
Does it not make sense to better ones own life and the lives of those around you? To not worry about what some other person or country did or is doing at any particular time? Not worry about what goes on in aniother country or world thousands of miles distant? Our life spans are too short for this nonsense and we don't really know what lies beyond that, do we?
