In the current reality of globalization, this is impossible. American ideas and values will somehow seep into the Muslim world one way or another.
Education is the answer to their hate of the west and vise versa. We need to learn about them, they need to learn about us, and there must be respect and tolerance on both sides of this "holy war" for it to ever come to an end.
