If God created the Universe, we don't have many responsibilities and little purpose. If the Universe is becoming a god and we are a part of that process--perhaps the most important part--then what we do might decide the nature of that
real god, and that gives us a real purpose, real responsiblity--without resorting to any supernatural notions.
