I addressed that previously. We NEED to have a competent intelligence agency. Contrary to the popular, knee-jerk idea of throwing out the baby with the bathwater, as in dismantling the CIA, we need to have dedicated, smart and competent people in the government to do their jobs. NOT witless, half-assed political appointees to run and oversee the agency so that it does what it is supposed to do, and does that legally.
But no, the idiot sheep are too focused on who we personally LIKE and who runs the cleverest TV ads to think about competency. The CIA is like anything else in Washington. It doesn't do what it wants. It does what it's told, and we need to work on the ones who TELL them what to do.
