They are doing it because they are supposed to be required to declassify information after it's no longer pertinent to national security. ( The fact remains that they are always trying to keep a lid on what gets out, but never the less, this is supposed to be a transparent government. )

You know, all the juicy stuff they were doing on the domestic front, where they're not even legally to be able to operate. ( The realm of the FBI ) You know, like using HUD to manipulate taxes, and create ghettos making it easier to target Blacks with drugs, and other neat stuff like that. The things we can't entrust to just
any government agency.
