This case is just another example of what a joke trial lawyers have made of the criminal justice system. Since there are now SOO many lawyers, more cases are needed for them to make a living. To get more cases more laws are needed for citizens to break and new defense techniques for lawyers to use in order to earn a paycheck. Even if this guy was descended from slavery HE was not a slave. If he suffered any trauma from slavery, it would come from Black leaders keeping this issue alive in order to make political hay. Come on people. My ancestors suffered at the hands of their fellow man, as did all of our ancestors. I hardly think legal action is forthcoming. Nor would I feel justified suing the ancestors of whoever was mean to my ancestors. How about we start catching kids early and teach them how BAD going to law school is for their fellow man. It's too bad this didn't happen before my brother became an attorney. Oh well, every family has their black sheep. It used to be me until HE passed the bar.
