| Yes and no.. i think the constitution was written.. in hopes that common sense.. would also be commonly used.. also one must take into account.. that technology has created better and more efficient killing weapons..when the constitution was written.. flint lock non rifled muzzle loaded rifles and pistols where all that was around.. thats 1 min. per shot.. if your well trained..(trust me i did civil war reenactments.. you CAN NOT load a muzzle loader and aim a shot in under 45 sec. i dont care who you are) therefor.. if someone who didnt need to have a weapon decided he wanted to shoot something up.. someone else with a gun shot him.. yes.. sometimes killing someone is justifiable (zomg!!!) But now.. we have semi and fully automatic weapons of all different caliber and size one man.. trained or not can walk in somewhere with 2 weapons hand gun or rifle.. and kill anywhere from 1 to say.. 50 people in a min or less.. so minor revisions imo are needed and allowable
