1. - Our economy is doing well for the oil companies and for those making war-related equipment - but the cost of the war alone could wipe out a lot of those profits you brag about, that is IF those favored companies paid their fair share of the taxes.
You said - President Bush is concerned because oil (fosil fuel) is good for our economy. I said under Bush the economy is not "working well".
Now our economy depends on trasnportation - especially the trucking companies, as the gas prices go up at the pump due to Bush's war and etc, the cost of business is effected, the home budgets cannot be managed to make ends meet due to the higher cost of gasoline. So the economic system is not working well for the average American.
Your idea of a healthy economy is a fantasy produced by White House Sources. Not on the realities of everyday life.
2. - Yes - this topic is about Bush speaking on our behalf which he does without knowing what the mainstream would consent too. I wrote the O.P. and know my own intent.
3. - Why debate the Kyoto proposal when President Bush does not care what we think relative to the opinons found in such debates. He has already spoken (for America ) and so it is too late to debate it. Any opinons expressed in such a debate are NOW pointless. Soo ... stay on topic please.
