| Paris Hilton should never have been arrested, sent to jail, placed on house arrest, or even given probation. Paris Hilton is not violating anybody's rights while driving drunk. Drunk driving should not even be against the law. The government has no right to regulate our blood content, and the fact that a breathalyzer is needed to determine whether we are breaking the law or not is despicable. That is not how the law is supposed to work. The law is not suppose to follow probabilities. When you drive drunk, there is only a probability that you may cause an accident, and within that there is only a probability that it could have been avoided if you weren't drunk. There are many, many drunk drivers who do not kill people when they are driving, much less themselves, yet they are still breaking the law despite the fact there has been no damage to persons or property.
To sum it up: Legalize drunk driving. And leave Paris alone.
