| The truth is that there are many people who do horrible crimes, even assault, and get off with some slap on the wrist. I agree in a perfect world there would be perfect justice.
However I hardly see what she did as the cause of the year that necessitates poeple to get so angry and feel she should serve hard time, if that's the case, then everyone who has gotten off from more serious crimes needs to pay up.
On a personal note, this is just my own personal thing and doesnt change at all the above, my dad was a drunk slob growing up. HE drove drunk many, many times, even with young babies, toddlers in the caer and almost got us killed. It was terrifying. For some reason, he was just not caught at it, and continued to put his family thru he**. The fact a cop didnt happen to see it, is the only reasons he wasnt locked up.
I also read about a man who killed several people drunk driving, as an illegal with no license.
Do you (general you) also want him to pay up, big time, I assume if you want equal justice, this man will be either deported or put in jail many years to come.
So, I am not saying what she did was right, but in comparison to many crimes people get off of, it was pretty minor, she didnt hurt anyone, she didnt involve young children in her driving, etc. So, just because she's a celebrity shouldnt mean she should get a harsher sentence either.
It's obvious that many poeple want her punished mroe than they would want a regular person punished, bc of fact she is rich and they resent that |
