You would be surprised at the discrepancies inside specific churches as well. In my church the youth pastor tends to wear a hat inside the building, He does not wear it during actual services, so that is not a problem.

He was approached by a few church elders which told him that it was wrong to even wear a hat in a casual environment inside the church at all. In fact they even offered to donate money to the youth group if he would not wear any hats. Most of the people of younger generations in my church think that it perfectly fine to wear a hat in the church not during services.

I chose the sect of Christianity that I am in because it feels to be the right one for me. I have been to services in other sects that have been quite nice. Who am I to say that Mine is more "holy" then someone else? I may disagree with how something is done on their side, but does this mean they are going to hell? I am not God so how would I know?
