| I'm surprised too, to be honest. But after a lot of thought I figure Biden would be the best of the bunch. Ron Paul is a Republican but he still sounds like a Libertarian. The problem with that is the GOP wouldn't follow him because what he believes in would be against their best interests. And, like the L.P. itself, any radical positions Paul would take would fail because the idiot sheep don't do radical. I really see no difference if he would be elected from either party at this point, as he would get no support.
Biden is less radical (comparatively) and just as smart. He's also fairly consistent and if you know him you see his positions are not that different now than they were years ago. You can't say that about most of these chameleons who are spending most of their time denying things they stood for only a year ago.
He's also had a plan for Iraq going back two years and he is considered by everyone an expert on foreign policy, which would be a big difference from the idiot in the WH right now.
All things considered, I have to back the one I think would do the most good in a time when ANY good would be a welcome change.
Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |
